Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH)
BPH is a non-cancerous pathology that results in the benign enlargement of the prostate. This condition occurs in a significant number of older males. Benign prostate hyperplasia does not mean that a patient is pre-malignant or predisposed to cancer. However, the condition may impact patients mechanically by blocking the urethra and creating difficulty in voiding.
