Robotic Surgery

Dr Kahloon is trained in the use of the Da Vinci robotic system. Minimally invasive robotic surgery is becoming increasingly popular in Australia.  In urology most commonly, the Da Vinci robot is used to perform radical prostatectomies as well as complex kidney surgery and is popular for a variety of reasons including less blood loss during surgery, shorter hospital stays and quicker functional recovery. Dr Kahloon performs his robotic procedures at the National Capital Private Hospital in Canberra.
